this is an excellent little project. i live in a small apartment with the wife and 2 kids (both under 3). I made a sketchup model of the apartment complete with all our furniture etc. to help with space planning and future home improvement planning. my 2 1/2 year old daughter Molly got so excited when i showed it to her! she was beside herself when she recognized her “big girl bed” and the chair where mommy reads her stories. not quite a basswood model, but gives me an idea how excited your daughter was on christmas day. well done!
